Hajra Akbar is a trained Clinical Psychologist with around 4 years of experience in the field. She has extensive expertise in the treatment of mental health and psychological illnesses. She has worked with adults and older adults with diverse issues ranging from self-discovery to post-psychiatric counselling. With a strong focus on emotion-focused therapy, she prioritises self-awareness and self-discovery, believing that building strong connections with clients is essential before delving into techniques and strategies. Her passion for mental health education has led me to speak at prestigious institutions, including CUST, Bahria University, Szabist University, and Maarif International. She has also shared her insights on podcasts, discussing the significance of psychological concepts and their relevance in various aspects of life and professions. Hajra Akbar, earned her degree in MS Clinical Psychology from the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST, Islamabad, Pakistan). She is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Council of Allied Health Sciences Pakistan (CAHSP) and is currently a DHA Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Dubai.
